FaceTime Photo Sessions During Lockdown.

So, Covid’s got us at home looking for things to do.  We have picked up old passions and interests or learning something new, we’re doing more cooking/baking, and some are making Tik Tok videos.  Basically, anything to pass the time. 

And I also need to continue being creative.  Being a photographer is who I am so I don’t really want to stop photographing. And I miss the social interaction with the families who are in front of my camera.  FaceTime photo sessions is a win/win because I can keep shooting and still see people! 

It’s not the same as me being in front of you but it’s still a lot of fun. Having video chat photos will be a testament to the limitations of this time in COVID lockdown.  There is some organization required which we get sorted out in advance and then we just play with it.  What comes up are candid and fun expressions..  

I had a blast with Nisha and her family.  The kids were enthusiastic and ready to have some fun with this. Nisha is a devoted mother who is so present with her kids.  In the little time we spent together, she is totally focused on getting the photos.  By the way her kids respond and interact with her, I know that this is how she is even when there is no camera in front of her.  The session itself is a glimpse into who Nisha is with her children in between the shots.  I get to see a mother who is loving, caring and devoted to her children.  And in her children responses to her, we see their love and admiration for her.
